From: Don Maloney
In 1975, our son, Sean, then age 6, was stricken with a seizure disorder,
epilepsy. He went under the care of Dr. Robert Cain in Austin, TX until we
relocated overseas ( I was retired from the USAF and flying for an
international airline in Japan). Dr. Cain acted as our medical consultant,
via phone and correspondence, in our dealings and treatment plans under
other doctors, military and civilian, until we returned to this area and
he again became Sean's primary Neurologist. When Dr. Cain's professional
interest changed he recommended
Dr. Leonard as his replacement; a real boon for us. For the past 10+ years
Dr. Leonard has treated and recommended procedures for Sean. He has
followed through on all aspects of Sean's care; hospitalizations, surgery
for VNI, medications (adjusting and changing as necessary) always with
compassion and a dedication to help; NEVER a hint of inappropriate
behavior. Philip Leonard is a good, attentive, caring medical professional
( all synonymous with "Doctor of Medicine" ) and as such, should retain
his legal medical status.
