To whom it may concern: We would like to request you to reconsider Dr. Leonard 's case and get him back to practicing medicine .We urgently need his care because we have been his current patients for over 7 years .Since then until now ,we haven't seen any doctors beside Dr. Leonard. We trust in his competency and professional treatment. He is a good and caring doctor. My mother, Tuyet Tran ,had a cerebro-vascular accident in 1992 and the result of that she has had dementia and Alzheimer's. Although she is forgetful ,she seems have a good impression to Dr. Leonard. One time ,during an office visit ,she said that Dr Leonard is very intelligent, that surprised us too much, because since a long time she is unable to express her idea. My father, Minh Vo, has a depression and Alzheimer's too. He was a Judge and Professor at the School of Law in Vietnam before 1975. He has been under Dr Leonard's care since 1998.In his eyes ,he sees Dr Leonard as a great doctor ,so he used to call him "Reverend Doctor" .He expresses his respect to Dr. Leonard through his good personality and moral. In addition, he said that DR. LEONARD deserves the title of "good disciple of Hippocrates" because he denotes his humanitarian spirit while treating his patients. We are patients on Medicaid and Dr Leonard treats us with respect and dignity .There is any racial discrimination, sometimes he speaks to us in French and Vietnamese for we do not speak English. The thing we remember the most and are very grateful to Dr Leonard is that he helps us by writing medical letters to The Immigration and Naturalization Services so that they allow us to take the US Citizenship test in our native language (due to our Alzheimer's disease, we are unable to learn English although we can read, write and speak French fluently). We are very shocked when we heard that Dr LEONARD has been accused of inappropriate manner to female patients. We cannot believe that because Dr Leonard always has a very appropriate and polite behavior to us. We think that these patients have made false accusations against him.
We hope that Dr Leonard's charge will be examined with loyalty and cleared
as soon as possible so that he can get back to his profession and help
patients waiting for him. We understand the doctor's reputation is very
important and precious for a physician's career. |
