Dear Dr. Anderson, It gives me great pride to write a letter of recommendation for Dr. Philip Leonard in order to have his medical license reinstated. I have known Dr. Leonard all of his life; our mothers are sisters. I can say with the truest of conscience that he has always been a model of integrity, kindness, and compassion. From his early days, it was Philip who tended to our grandparents needs and of the needs of people around him. With his positive disposition and his instinct of knowing just others needed he actually “ran” to be of help to others. As he matured into adulthood his consciousness grew and strengthen. After becoming a doctor, his gentle soul reached out to not only his patients but to every human he came in contact with. He actually became an “Outreach” person tending to people’s physical and emotion needs any where he might have been. Always having been a caring person, he became a true angel of mercy. We have been close over his life-time and if he might have one flaw, it would be that there are no boundaries at which he would stop to help someone in need. He treated each and every patient as if they were the most important person of his life, giving them his full attention. People felt his presence and his kindness radiated his surroundings. And, always, he projected his soft, genuine smile which calmed the anxiety of his patient. In his practice and in his personal life he has always shown integrity and respect for other people. He would never hurt anyone or say anything negative about a person. l do hope that you will strongly consider the reinstatement of Dr. Leonard’s license so that he can continue to do the work he was meant to do.Marcy Goodman |
