Dear Sirs:

This letter concerns Dr. Philip J. Leonard. I urge you to reinstate is
medical license.

From my observations it would be very hard to find a more professional and
caring physician.

A lot of publicity was given to the charges against Dr. Leonard on TV and the
Internet. I believe this publicity caused others to think they could get
some money too.

I sat through one of his trials at the Travis County Court House. During Dr.
Leonard's trial it became very clear to me, that the plaintiff, had filed the
charges for monetary gain. I believe the jury saw this too. The jury
found Dr. Leonard not guilty of all charges.

Not only do physicians have to carry expensive malpractice insurance, now
they must have chaperons to be present with them when they examine a patient.
This is the only way to stop these frivolous lawsuits.

Again, I ask you to reinstate Dr. Leonard's medical license.

Sincerely,

Vaughn J. Shreeve
